Yes. Every processor used across the network range supports AES-NI hardware acceleration, which is essential for fast VPN tunnels (OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard).
What throughput can I expect?
It depends on the processor tier and software configuration. Efficiency-class desktop models handle full-gigabit routing with firewall rules comfortably; for multi-gigabit traffic with active IDS/IPS (Suricata or Snort), Core-class rackmount platforms are the right fit. Is LAN bypass available on every port?
No — bypass is typically implemented on specific port pairs on supported models. Confirm the model-specific specification, or describe the inline topology in your enquiry so the correct configuration is validated.
Can I run pfSense or OPNsense?
Selected models are widely deployed with pfSense and OPNsense. Compatibility must still be validated for the exact model, network controller, software release, and required packages before quotation.
