When liquid cooling pays off
Liquid-cooled enclosures with integrated CDU (coolant distribution) loops target dense CPU/GPU nodes where air cooling would demand unacceptable noise or rack space — on-premises AI nodes, rendering, and engineering simulation close to the people using them.
How to choose
Confirm the cold-plate coverage (CPU only or CPU+GPU), radiator capacity against the planned TDP, noise targets, and monitoring — models in this family include on-chassis displays for temperature, flow, and pressure. Serviceability of the loop should be part of the evaluation, not an afterthought.
